A bit of information about the three main tux lapel styles.
Peak Lapels always point upward and are partitioned from the top collar.
Of the three lapel types, Peak Lapels are considered most formal and traditional.
Notch Lapels always point outward and partitioned from the top collar.
Becase these are more common in suits, Notch Lapels are considerd the least formal of the three.
A Shalw Collar is a solid piece of rounded satin that wraps all the way around.
Shalw collars are considered more relaxed but, arguably the most elegant of the three types.
